Functional Problems
- Pull the clock weight straight to the bottom.
①Check if the thread has been wound three times.
②Check for the assembly direction of the ratchet.
2.The clock cannot operate normally/the pendulum cannot swing normally.
①Check if there is any interference with the pendulum and ensure there is no friction between the front and back of the pendulum. You can adjust it by the rotatable wooden plate and the hand screw. The screws connecting to the pendulum should also be tightened.
②In the third step, on page 9, the black thread here is wound three times. Winding too much or too little will affect the rotation. The clock weight descending too quickly or not descending at all is also caused by the incorrect number of thread winding.
③Please refer to the small picture at the top of page 21 to adjust the rotatable wooden plate and then check if the escape fork C3 is assembled in reverse. And wax more on the escape fork C3 and escape wheel A10 according to the instruction.
④Check if the weight of the clock weight meets the requirement. A weight of 300g is sufficient for swinging when it is assembled well. You can add some weight appropriately or wax more between the gears.
⑤ Check if the gears are assembled correctly.
