Difficulty locating parts, leading to frequent replacement requests
1.Position of P17 Gasket.
①Older Version:
②New Version:
P17 Gasket is used to control the space between the bushing and the gear, and if it is missing, you can use A4 paper as a temporary spacer.
2.Position of P11 Transparent bushing:
3.Position of P5 :
Post-Assembly Rotation Failure
1.Gears failure in rotating during Step 12 testing:Patterns on the gears are not aligned (triangle to triangle and circle to circle).
2.Transparent gear is assembled incorrectly or reversed.
3.Manually rotate the rear gear counterclockwise to test smoothness, checking for no resistance or tight rotation.
Solution: Apply wax to the gear gaps while rotating, and loosen the pressed bushing slightly.
4.The bushing as shown in the picture should be close to the part. And check if A28 is assembled.
5.All bushings are too tight.
Solution: Try loosening the bushing first. If they are too tight, use pliers, scissors, or nail clippers to pry them open.
6.The connection with the base is not pressed down fully, causing the gears at the connection not to fully engage.
Solution: Align the holes and slowly press both sides of the connection firmly to the bottom.
7.Part F14 is not pressed down fully, causing the gears at the connection to tilted engagement.
Solution: Unscrew the three screws, press F14 down fully, place the Tool C9 in proper position (Picture 1), then press F14 down and screw in the screws (Picture 3).
8.The movement is not fully tilted to assemble in Step 15, causing the gears at the connection to tilted engagement.
Solution: Reassemble the movement, ensuring the two holes on the back are fully inserted with no gaps.
9.Insert Part F2 and F10 fully, leaving no gaps.
10.E21 is a wooden part; do not mistake it for a bushing. Part E21 is on the Board E and has spare part.
Operational problems: The rotation will be stuck after tightening the movement
1.The movement is not tightened enough.
Solution: Tighten the movement 4-5 turns.
2.During rotation of the semicircular gear, the last gear tooth gets stuck and cannot rotate normally.
3.The bushings on both sides of the gear are too tight, just slightly loosen the bushings.
4.If the gear still gets stuck after loosing the bushing, slightly sand the teeth of the two fan-shaped gears.
